For the AE department:
1. The company culture is relaxed. As long as you get your work done, your supervisor and boss generally won’t interfere too much.
2. You can take taxis when visiting clients and submit the fares for reimbursement. Unlike some companies that cap reimbursements at NT$1,000 or require you to provide your own transportation, this makes AEs more willing to visit clients. Honestly, in this line of work, meeting many clients in person really does make a difference!
3. Everyone in the company, regardless of seniority, is provided with an Apple laptop.
4. Free drinks and snacks are available without limit.
5. Convenient transportation near Daan MRT Station.
6. The boss is a very nice person.
It is actually a good company, and there are quite a few talented people there! However, if you are a “newcomer” who seriously wants to develop a career in online marketing—with less than two years of relevant experience—I would not recommend applying here first. The company provides almost no comprehensive training for newcomers. There are generally only routine product update briefings; if you really want to learn, it depends on whether your supervisor and colleagues are willing to guide and teach you. Personally, I had a supervisor who had no interest in training newcomers and only wanted to focus on developing their own business. Even though I wanted to learn, there was no way to do so, so I ultimately chose to resign. In the industry, the training systems at WISER and iProspect are much more comprehensive! I recommend that newcomers start by learning at one of these two companies. After gaining practical experience and some industry connections, they can consider WISER. Their compensation and bonus system is indeed better than the industry average (although it also depends on your team and industry vertical)!
Also, if you work as an AE or AM, working hard and putting in overtime is inevitable. If you want to earn large bonuses but are unwilling to put in extra effort, you might as well change careers and do something else!
