Free lunch, and that's it.
1. Unable to claim overtime pay
2. Company dinners are very strange: work ends at 5:30 p.m., but you have to wait until after 7:00 p.m., when everyone has finished work, before you can eat. It's a huge waste of time.
3. If one of the company's long-time employees reports anything negative about you to management, you will be laid off a few days later.
4. The company's long-time employees generally aren't very capable and don't really know how to do their jobs, but they are very good at siding with whoever is in power. They agree with everything the boss says and then pass the work on to others. (The company really likes plagiarizing other people's work, haha.)
5. The turnover rate is extremely high. The company has fewer than 30 employees, yet two or three people resign or are laid off every month.
6. If you are laid off during the probationary period, the company insists on not paying severance, saying that you signed some kind of contract when you joined the company. They claim the contract was discussed with a lawyer and that the company would not do anything illegal.
※ Basically, the illegal aspects are that the company likes plagiarizing other people's work (from other social media pages and other skincare companies), and that it owes severance pay to many laid-off employees. I personally think that the company lays off employees so frequently that this should probably be reported.
