The colleagues get along well, but it depends on the department.
There is a lot of work, so you can learn quite a bit—especially if you are a fresh graduate.
There are sports and transportation allowances (NT$1,000 in total), as well as a NT$1,000 perfect-attendance bonus.
1. The boss is extremely nagging and works very inefficiently.
2. They say every day that they do not want you to work overtime, but they keep assigning new projects to you anyway.
3. There is no labor or health insurance during the probationary period—outrageous.
4. The turnover rate is extremely high, at around 8–12 people per month. All of the long-term employees have already left.
5. The supervisors do not have enough experience. They were promoted not because they were young and exceptionally capable, but because everyone else had left, so the company had no choice but to promote employees who had been there slightly longer.
6. The boss’s wife may ask you to pick up her children after school and collect the trash from her online sales business.
7. The company has all kinds of bonuses, but I never received any of them~ The performance bonus rate is >0.6%, but that is the bonus for the entire team, not for one person.
8. The boss has many strange requirements. LINE notifications cannot pop up, yet you are required to use LINE as the company’s communication tool. After work, there cannot be anything on the company desk except the computer. You cannot eat at your workstation; if you do, you have to write a letter of remorse. They speak very disrespectfully to employees and treat you like an asset, regardless of how capable you are.
9. The salary for fresh graduates is approximately NT$26,000. It increases by about NT$1,000 after the probationary period, unless the boss likes you—in which case it may increase by around NT$3,000, but this is very rare.
10. The company culture requires you to report the progress of everything every day. Some teams are even more extreme: you have to report every single task you complete.
11. The boss loves making sexually suggestive jokes. It is disgusting.
So, if you think you have a strong submissive streak, this company is perfect for you :)
Recommended to everyone above—you can come and see just how “excellent” the company is :)
