The scheduled lunch break is 1 hour (12:00–13:00).

However, many people actually go to buy lunch at 11:30.

Some people don’t even start working again until 13:30.

That means the lunch break is close to 2 hours... At least, that’s how it is in my department, but this is also its only advantage...

During the interview, they made it sound very good:

Our department offers a good quality of life and doesn’t often require overtime.

When there are projects, they won’t make you rush; there will definitely be enough time to finish them.

There is also comprehensive training for new employees.

But in reality, I was assigned a project after only one month.

The schedule was tight, and I worked overtime every day.

I was criticized for doing a mediocre job, even though I had to teach myself many things.

The new employee training was not comprehensive either.

After staying for 3 months, I worked overtime almost every day and was very unhappy with the job.

My department is EDPxxx (not RD; it focuses more on verification).

It should be fairly obvious.

However, Wistron is a good company.

I would consider coming back in the future,

but I definitely would not come back to this department.
