No advantages at all

Your company proactively contacted me to discuss an interview. After I arrived for the interview, I first listened to a long explanation about the company's prospects and future, as well as salary-related matters. When asking questions, the supervisor asked me:

"I'd like to know why you wanted to come interview at Wanda Pet?"

I answered very directly:

"I have pets myself and like pets, so I don't mind coming for an interview. Besides, it's not that I wanted to come—you were the ones who contacted me."

The supervisor then seemed unhappy and said arrogantly:

"I don't know which colleague at the company sent the interview invitation to you. It could have been sent by mistake. If you don't have much enthusiasm, then perhaps there's not much for us to discuss."

I don't know what they were being so arrogant about??
