After I sent my portfolio, I received no contact for a week, so I called to follow up. They said résumé reviews take ten days and that they would call to invite me to an interview if necessary. I followed up again, and the switchboard operator said that no one from the Human Resources Department was currently available and that they would contact me later. A few hours later, I received a notification saying that I would not be interviewed or hired.

It took nearly a month from when I sent my résumé to receiving notification that the review had ended. There was no response within the promised timeframe, and applicants had to keep calling to ask for updates. For people who want to find a job quickly, this company is extremely inefficient.
