The supervisor’s tone was quite gentle, and they were an experienced supervisor.
They spoke very politely and asked in depth about your previous work experience.
I wasn’t hired, which actually isn’t a big problem; they simply informed me that they had found someone else and would not be hiring me.
However, they then reopened the position to look for someone again. If they weren’t satisfied and wanted to continue searching, they could have just said so directly.
Not being hired isn’t a big deal—I just hope companies can be honest with job seekers, though that seems difficult~
Especially when they actively reach out to invite you to an interview, only to reject you as unsuitable for the position????
