Don't know
HR called to schedule an interview and also sent the applicant an interview assignment, so I spent the weekend working desperately on a presentation in hopes of performing well.
Then, on the day of the interview, HR called to say that the manager had a “last-minute meeting.” I even asked whether I should contact them proactively or wait for further notice.
HR said that because it was a last-minute meeting, they would “arrange another interview time.”
Then they disappeared without a trace. For two whole weeks, they didn’t send a single email or make a single phone call.
All I can say is that in Taiwan’s current employment environment, even international brands can treat job applicants like idiots and toy with them.
Absolutely awful.
