The chairman came out to conduct the interview. His hair was messy and graying, and his trousers were covered in dirt and dust, so he appeared to have come directly from a construction site. He had not looked at the applicant’s résumé. His manner was thoroughly that of a construction contractor. He did not ask many questions—only how much monthly salary was expected—and the interview ended after one minute. The position being interviewed for was hotel general manager. The entire process lasted one minute and was extremely disrespectful to an applicant who had traveled a long way.～

The question given that day was about chickens and rabbits in a cage and how many legs there were, or similar problems. The questions seemed to be the same for everyone, from service staff to the general manager.～

There was no personality or aptitude test, and they did not want to know anything about the applicant’s service or management attributes.～

It was clear that the hotel was facing considerable operational difficulties and losses. The hotel lobby was very large, but the employees were all very young. Essentially, staff of this caliber could not uphold the standards of a star-rated hotel; there would likely be major problems even with reasonable operations. If you truly have no other job options, you could give it a try; otherwise, don’t bother. It will definitely leave you extremely disappointed.～
