1. If you have ambitions and aspirations, don't come here.
2. If you really decide to come, make sure to get any verbal promises—such as guarantees regarding your annual salary—in writing. This applies even if the person making the promise is the boss's son. Otherwise, you may be screwed over later with no evidence to support your side, and you will also be at a legal disadvantage.
