Enjoyable relationships with colleagues

During the interview, the benefits package was explained unclearly.

After joining, the actual job duties were completely different from what was discussed in the interview. A management position turned into miscellaneous tasks; every month, I also had to package and ship goods to customers myself. Instead of being packaged and handled directly by the factory after production, the goods were transported by the factory to another office to be repackaged, have shipping labels prepared, and then be sent out, which wasted manpower and reflected poor management.

The supervisor verbally berated people without restraint and was not very receptive to suggestions. After making suggestions once or twice and seeing what happened afterward, I stopped bringing them up. Whenever work was not done according to the supervisor’s wishes, there would be yelling and table-banging. In customer negotiations, the supervisor had the final say on pricing, with no clear standards or range (although it was said on the surface that there was a range, in practice everything was decided by the supervisor).

Finally, the reason I do not recommend working there is that the company’s financial situation was poor: it owed money to vendors, lacked materials for production, and could not complete orders on time. Employees’ business travel expenses would not be reimbursed unless they actively pursued them. All in all, this was the most unusual company I encountered after entering the workforce—a workplace where all the special situations a working person might encounter seemed to be present. Quite something.
