Cons

They first notified me that I had passed the interview, and we contacted each other to arrange the reporting time and the personal documents I needed to prepare. Then, on the day I reported for work, they questioned me about why I had not responded to their previous messages, directly accusing me of working in a way that would cause them trouble and asking me to explain myself clearly.

I asked in return: If I had never responded, would you still have hired me? If I had not responded at all, how would I have known that I passed the interview or what documents to prepare for reporting? I even provided my call records and asked where their unfounded accusation had come from.

Their internal communication clearly had problems, yet they suddenly accused me that same day of causing them “trouble” at work. It was incredibly baffling. I responded with written evidence, and their final reaction was:

The internal staff member was sick and not thinking clearly, but they had already started looking for someone else to interview. What an utterly absurd farce! Absolutely do not waste your time interviewing there. The first written test alone requires three hours of Chinese and English questions, scheduled rigidly at 11 a.m.—writing while starving!

Job postings on 104 really are all terrible jobs!
