Compared with other Taiwanese companies I have worked for, its distinguishing feature is that research and development work allows you to apply algorithms and devise new solutions. In the research team I was part of, colleagues and managers got along well. The team members had diverse backgrounds, including people from other countries. Collaborating with people from different backgrounds in other departments may take some getting used to, but I see it as a valuable life experience.

You need to be able to research and absorb skills from different fields, such as wireless communications technology, and combine them with your own thinking in order to perform the job well. This is not suitable for people who only want to implement specifications mechanically.

When supporting projects overseas, you have to accommodate the client because of the time-zone differences.

The client system integrations involved are large and complex, so when applying the technology to actual wireless network systems, you need to solve practical problems.
