Going home after work
There are too many drawbacks to list them all in a table.
In addition to violating the Labor Standards Act,
requiring employees to work overtime beyond the statutory limits,
not paying holiday wages or failing to provide the legally required additional pay for work performed on holidays,
they also make arbitrary deductions from employees’ wages,
force you to clock in early and continue working after clocking out under the guise of a responsibility-based work system,
set store performance targets that can never be reached so you cannot receive the bonuses you are entitled to,
and even when the targets are reached, arbitrarily raise them the following month while making it sound nice by calling it a challenge.
All the benefits that should be provided are swallowed up by people in the family-run business.
There are many reserve managers and store managers parachuted in and promoted through connections.
There are also many cliques that play mind games.
The employee trips show practically no sincerity at all; they are essentially self-funded events organized for the company’s own enjoyment.
In short, do not join this company under any circumstances—you will only waste your life.
