Going home after work
There are far too many drawbacks to list them all in a table.
In addition to violating the Labor Standards Act,
requiring working hours to exceed the limits prescribed by law,
not paying holiday wages or failing to provide the legally required additional pay for work performed on holidays,
they also make arbitrary deductions from employees’ wages.
They force you to clock in early under a so-called duty-based system and continue working after clocking out.
They set store performance targets that are impossible to achieve, so you cannot receive the bonuses you should be entitled to.
Even if you achieve them, they arbitrarily raise the targets the following month, making it sound nice by calling it a “challenge.”
All the benefits that should be provided are swallowed up by people in the family-owned business.
There are many reserve-manager and store-manager positions filled by parachuted-in people who rose through connections.
There are also many cliques playing political games.
The employee trips have virtually no sincerity at all; they are basically just arranged for the organizers’ enjoyment while employees pay most of the costs themselves.
In short, do not join this company under any circumstances—you will only waste your life.
