成龍塑膠廠股份有限公司
Pros

I worked at this company for about two months. What I experienced was that, in some respects, they did take care of their employees. Lunch is served buffet-style, so you take as much as you want. You will definitely be full, and it is not bad. Each meal costs NT$15. The company also provides employees with accident insurance covering commuting hours, etc. The starting salaries for production operators and warehouse staff are not bad either. The job postings on 104 clearly state the starting salary. During the interview, they said salaries would be adjusted annually based on performance reviews. Those are roughly the advantages I could think of.

Cons

As for the drawbacks... it is a typical family business: the father is the chairman, the mother is the general manager, the son is the vice president, and the managers seem to be family members as well. The boss's wife really likes to tour the factory floor and tell people how to do their work..... If you damage something, you have to pay for it; if inventory goes missing, the warehouse staff have to compensate for it. Also, if they decide that the job you applied for is not suitable, they will transfer you to another position, and your salary will be set at the starting salary for the new position. I resigned because of this—I really felt deceived. After all, this is a plastic injection-molding business, so the factory environment is rather hot and stuffy. During working hours, you simply have to keep your hands moving and work continuously. I would recommend it more to people who are currently unemployed: apply first, and if it does not suit you, you can resign. But if you are considering changing jobs, think it over carefully. Do not be swayed by the possibility of annual salary increases. The employee turnover is not low, and there must be a reason for that. You may not adapt to the work atmosphere and environment; otherwise, you could end up with nothing to show for it.
