1. Whenever you work major overtime, there is always someone working overtime with you. Having company when you’re falling apart is the best.
2. You don’t need to take reports too seriously when writing them. The boss won’t read them carefully anyway—even highlighting key points in red makes no difference. You can repeatedly submit reports that have already been turned in, and the boss won’t notice at all.
1. The boss doesn’t care about or make good use of employees’ original areas of expertise. Whenever someone resigns, they casually assign someone else to fill the vacancy, requiring that person to figure out how to develop the skills and knowledge needed for the position on their own, without providing any training.
2. The previous two posts said that overtime wasn’t necessary, but that was the Visual Design Department. The Sales Department has to remain on standby at night and on holidays to deal with global clients. The Development Department often has to rush various changes that suddenly occur to the boss. The Engineering Department has to take turns staying on duty at the company at night and on holidays. Not having to work overtime is a fantasy, okay?
3. The company refuses to pay overtime and only offers compensatory leave. Whenever you take leave, the boss publicly asks why you take leave so often. Even when you take sick leave, the boss will publicly humiliate you, asking whether your poor health is because you are too fat or whether you have some illness. Several people have been spoken to this way.
4. You have to write a daily work report every day and attend several meetings every day. Meetings frequently run past the end of the workday. If you don’t stay for meetings, the boss will harass you with relentless calls; there have even been calls at 11 p.m. In the past, someone was even fired for not staying behind for a meeting.
5. The boss has many strange ideas of their own, and everything has to be done according to those ideas. Then they set unreasonable deadlines, telling you that you must get things done even if it means working overtime on holidays and staying up all night.
6. I’m emotionally exhausted and can’t go on. If you still want to know more, join the company and experience it for yourself. Good luck—the spirit is with you.
