云輝國際旅行社有限公司
Pros

1. The line manager is a supervisor who thinks about the team.

2. The boss is very good at sales talk.

3. Operations, reservations, and ticketing are very stable.

Cons

1. Sales commissions are often delayed and left unpaid. The promised start-of-work red envelopes, Labor Day bonuses, and bonuses for the three major festivals were all gone this year, making people feel that the company really cannot afford to pay.

2. A woman who had not been with the company long kept acting as though she had known the boss for a long time. The boss said she was in sales, but she had no performance at all and could not take orders. Later, she was put in charge of personnel matters, despite not understanding the Labor Standards Act. She once invited someone to an interview and kept them waiting for half an hour until they angrily left. She told everyone to ask her about any business-related problems, but she did not know the answer to anything and could not help resolve any issues. Later, she would walk around the office whether there was anything to do or not, saying that she was very busy, but no one had any idea what she actually did. Tasks within her area of responsibility were also given to sales assistants. She simply acted like the boss's wife.

3. The boss thinks he knows Koh Samui very well, but has not kept up with the times. He did not even know when restaurants had closed. The itinerary arrangements were so difficult to operate that tour leaders and guides all complained. Taking people to Fisherman's Village at 11 o'clock meant that hardly any restaurants were open, and when asked whether he could recommend somewhere more upscale, he could not say anything.

4. The company has always liked to say that someone is gossiping, spreading rumors, or inciting people to resign. Whenever an employee leaves, the company blames them for believing rumors or being incited by former employees. Whenever there is a negative review, it says that a former employee is holding a grudge and taking revenge, rather than reflecting on itself. In fact, the source of all the rumors is that the boss often privately complains to people that “so-and-so is not doing well and should be let go,” which is how these stories spread; they are not made up out of nowhere. Then, after starting the fire, the person who spread it starts putting it out by saying in front of everyone, “Why believe this kind of rumor?” and “The boss is the one who makes the decisions.”

5. The person who looks very much like the boss's wife but no one knows what she actually does loves asking employees all sorts of questions and throwing her weight around, then telling them to just do their own jobs. Together with the gossip trio in accounting (now down to two people), they are all “two-faced.” By comparison, the sales staff at this company are surprisingly straightforward.

6. It is a small company, yet the accounting staff make up one-fifth of all employees. When the boss is away, they constantly gossip loudly; when the boss is present, they are very good at putting on an act.

7. The office is somewhat old, with a relatively low ceiling, and feels dim. There are also some feng shui items; I even heard that there used to be talismans, which makes the place feel strange.

8. The office is roughly divided into three areas: one for sales staff, one for back-office staff and accounting, and another that is very unclear—perhaps graphic design or marketing. People come and go, and it is not even clear whether they are company employees.

9. The agreed-upon salary is manipulated in the salary structure, and the reported amounts for labor and health insurance are understated, violating the Labor Standards Act.
