1. Good relationships among employees
2. Flexible leave
3. Opportunities to interact with many different companies
1. Unclear policies (one thing is said today, another tomorrow, and yet another when you leave the company)
2. An emotional boss (often brings emotions into meetings, then tells employees not to take it personally)
3. Unclear bonus system (Employees should receive what they are entitled to. There is no need to make it sound so good externally while distributing bonuses by tiers behind closed doors.)
4. The boss often exaggerates or makes false claims externally (Bonuses are one example. Clients often think we charge a lot, so they believe these things are simply part of the job, but the actual bonus is only around 1%.)
5. An autocratic boss, leaving employees no real opportunity to demonstrate their abilities (If something is not done exactly this way, it seems as though an unforgivable crime has been committed.)
6. Requires employees to work during typhoons (Even when a day off has officially been announced, everyone is still told to come to work in the group chat.)
7. Often uses being busy as an excuse to delay salary payments and labor and health insurance enrollment, and requires employees to pay certain expenses upfront (It takes a very long time to get reimbursed.)
8. Getting a pay stub is nearly impossible
9. Overtime pay is never provided (They make it sound good by offering time off, but that only applies to working overtime on holidays. If you work overtime on weekdays, you get not a penny. And if you leave the company, the time off earned through all that hard work simply disappears.)
10. Travel subsidies are often brought up (Telling employees, “Look how good I have been to you.”)
These are things I experienced at the company. Before joining, you definitely need to have a very strong heart. This company can teach you a lot, and it can also open your eyes to many things.
