The company's decor is quite stylish, and the staff are also very polite.
When I first arrived, someone brought over a computer for me to complete a test, which consisted of about 20 international trade terminology translation questions (English to Chinese), followed by three business email responses to write. The content was basically about responding to customer complaints and following up on payments. Anyone who has worked in a similar industry should be able to complete it easily. After finishing within 30 minutes, the woman who had brought me the computer interviewed me (but she did not introduce herself or say whether she was the department manager). The interview was 20% in Chinese and 80% in English.
After that part of the interview, I went to interview with the VP, who was the only man in the office XD. During the interview, he asked about my previous work experience and revisited the content of the first interview, but he kept asking about my family background, which I found quite strange. The other questions were fairly standard. There was plenty of time for the candidate to ask questions, so you could ask about compensation and benefits, the company's development, or its history.
The reception area is a bit small. The workspace is too open, so it feels like it could get noisy when everyone gets busy, and there is not much space for personal decorations.
It feels like the company lacks standard operating procedures.
