The HR staff were fairly polite.
The interview took way too long—possibly three hours... and the area nearby was quite remote.
The interviewing managers were all fairly old, so when I introduced and shared some innovative products, there was no resonance... They would respond, “Huh? There’s such a thing?” and say that people who use these products are bizarre and strange....
I wasn’t able to see the company environment; I was kept in a meeting room for the entire interview. Don’t the managers and HR know that the work environment is also a factor when considering a job...? When buying or renting a home, wouldn’t you look at the surroundings and layout?? They kept asking the interviewee to come up with new ideas, yet they themselves didn’t explain the company’s work, products, or product processes in any detail....
The manager kept asking seemingly deep questions (such as repeatedly asking what we would do if something happened to our xxx product and how we would solve it), but if you don’t show the interviewee what you actually make or the work-related products, who could answer these questions well? It was a very one-sided interview process with a serious information imbalance.... I asked whether I could see their product interface, and they replied, “It’s just like that xxx brand, more or less.” ==
And the funniest part was that middle-aged female manager, who even said: “Your product style is actually different from our products....” Then why did you invite me to interview? Didn’t you say you had already looked at my products before asking me to come......? My valuable time was completely wasted.....
