Pros

The only real advantage is probably that the store environment is pretty good.

Cons

Overall, I thought the interview experience was extremely bad—it took nearly five hours!!

It was a group interview. First, they gave us a form with basic information to fill out.

After we finished, there was a PPT presentation explaining the company, introducing its operations, and covering the salary system.

Then we each had to introduce ourselves one by one.

After the self-introductions, they divided us into two groups for interviews.

That was basically the process.

The things that made me feel particularly bad were:

1. They said they had already held several interview sessions.

However, they were extremely poor at managing the time.

I really don't think this looked like something they had done many times before.

2. The information was inaccurate.

I feel that the PPT was somewhat misleading to people who wouldn't think carefully about it.

When introducing the company, they said the average number of days off per month was 10.

The problem is that they got that figure by averaging all the public holidays mandated by the government throughout the entire year.

In reality, it's basically just eight days off per month, with shifts arranged accordingly.

I really don't think a company that misleads its own employees is worth joining.

3. They were extremely good at making grand promises. The interview gave me the strong impression that they expected employees to work overtime for free.

This really doesn't need much explanation. They said the boss looked down on giving raises of NT$1,000 or NT$2,000.

Any raise would have to start at NT$4,000.

(The problem is, when would the raise happen???? Who knows.)

Anyway, they kept making grand promises about how wealthy the company was and how much potential it had.

But I honestly don't think much of a company that isn't even willing to pay overtime.

4. The questions asked in the interview had absolutely nothing to do with the job.

I genuinely felt that one of the interviewers was just there to chat and showed no respect for the applicants.

They had not even seriously read through the basic information the applicants had written at the beginning.

Instead, they asked a bunch of hypothetical questions or simply jumped to conclusions, saying things like, “I think you're the kind of person who...”

This interview experience was truly outrageous.

This is just how I felt about this particular interview; perhaps the next one will be better.

However, I think the most important point is that their somewhat deceptive behavior toward employees made me feel that the company was really not okay.

If you're considering going, I recommend taking a closer look at their rules and procedures.

Especially when it comes to your own rights and benefits—you really need to ask them directly and get clear answers.
