The atmosphere is okay

1. The boss is highly pressuring and disrespectful toward people. At employee meetings, they stand at the door and make everyone jog in. It’s managed like the military.

2. The sales team has a script. The department supposedly responsible for training is actually in charge of monitoring your recordings to see whether you have deviated from the script. If you have, they pull you back in for “retraining.”

3. You can’t learn anything because everything has to be read from the script. Some customers respond better to building rapport, while others respond better to rational analysis, but here they only care whether you have deviated from the script.

4. The product teaches English through homophones. They don’t seriously address customers’ questions, instead saying things that don’t even convince themselves, and then they steer the issue back to whether you followed the script.
