HR sends out interview invitations indiscriminately, and the interviewer has not read your résumé at all. They invite you to an on-site interview, then frown as soon as they meet you and say, “Actually, we’re looking for someone senior with many years of experience!” (Then why send an interview invitation?) During the interview, they clearly do not want to listen to what you have to say, constantly interrupting you with a sour expression. Or they ask whether you have experience in field A, then say, “But we’re not looking for experience in field A! We need field B.” Then why ask? Why invite me to an interview? It wastes both parties’ time. Isn’t employees’ time still time?
Finding a job is an equal process for both employers and employees. Before coming in, I did my homework and learned about the company, so the company should do its homework too before sending out an interview invitation. This is truly a very disrespectful company.
