A great many.
It was only after I entered the workforce and started looking for jobs that I truly realized a company could be this terrible.
They called to invite me to an interview. I said I would have more time after May 20. She called around May 10 to invite me, but unbelievably replied, “May 20? We may have already found someone by then...” (Then please don’t contact me if you’re so in demand.)
Then she sent an invitation through 104 first. After I replied, she called me, but it turned out she had not looked at my résumé at all. After looking at my résumé, she asked, “Can you write marketing plans?”
I still remember that sentence to this day. I was completely dumbfounded.
It was as if everything I had written on my résumé was fake.
Finally, the most outrageous part: I had not resigned at the time. I was leaving my job on May 20 and explained that I would have more time after May 20. She said she would contact me again if necessary. But then she herself sent me an invitation asking me to interview on May 15. There was no phone call or communication in between; she simply set the interview time directly, as if she were so highly sought-after.
All I can say is, please, whatever you do, don’t go to a company with this kind of exploitative boss or arrogant HR department.
