During the first interview, the manager required me to be able to start in early July, but I had already informed them that I could only start in mid-July. The manager agreed and arranged a second interview. After the second interview, the manager called to ask whether I could start in early July, saying that if I couldn’t, I could not be hired. I had clearly informed them beforehand that I couldn’t start in early July, so if they couldn’t accept that, why arrange a second interview? Traveling north from southern Taiwan by high-speed rail is very expensive! The manager also knew that I had traveled from southern Taiwan, and they still had me attend two interviews, only to reject me for this reason. It was really infuriating.
