The entire interview process took about two hours, and half of the time was spent listening to the interviewer talk about himself.
When answering questions, the interviewer had his own ideas about every answer.
Even when I answered according to the standard answer, I was still considered not to have addressed the key point.
At first, he said he thought I was good, but when we started discussing salary, he began saying that I had insisted on cutting more than 10,000 off the salary.
He also told me that the person in this position was no longer leaving—so did he think I had a lot of time to spare?
In addition, for the overseas assignment, there was no labor or health insurance, nor any insurance locally.
Later, they said there would be a second interview. After I called to inquire two weeks later, they said there would be no opportunity for a second interview.
It felt like I had gone there just to chat with the interviewer and help him pass the time.
