This company is the most unprofessional language cram school I have ever encountered—in every respect.

Since I was a student, I experienced their persistent, relentless sales tactics firsthand. I made it clear that I was majoring in Japanese and had no need for their services at the time, but they retorted, “You don’t need English now, but you’ll need it in the future!” To this day, I still receive spam promotional emails from toturabc.

Even after I started working as a cram-school teacher, I received a call from them hoping that I would become one of their online instructors.

I told them that my résumé clearly stated that I teach Japanese, not English!

Yet the HR representative who called actually said:

“No problem! Teacher, you can teach English to Japanese people in Japanese. We also have many Japanese students.”

I don’t understand how such an unprofessional company has managed to survive to this day.
