What needs to be said has been said; leave and move on.

Initially, I worked in warehouse management (Zhonghe), with a monthly salary of around NT$30,000.

Two people were doing the work of four... Basically, there was no overtime pay... If you applied for it, whether it was approved depended on the higher-ups.

If the company held an event, you had to attend. Once, senior management organized an outdoor event, and our supervisor asked us to attend and help.

We had to serve tea and water, hand out towels, and do similar tasks... There was no overtime pay or compensatory leave. I don't know whether this has changed now.

That time, I refused to participate... Why should employees spend their own time doing these things? Don't they know we're short of money too?

They even made us do it for free.

Then, on holidays, when engineering staff needed to collect goods, the supervisor would call you back to the company to open the warehouse so they could get them... Ridiculous.

They also wouldn't let the engineering department prepare the goods in advance...

Also, when customers returned products, you would know about it... Especially when a price war broke out... It would exhaust you.

I quit this job in less than six months...
