臺青創夢有限公司
Pros

I came across another strange company.

Cons

1. It feels like the boss is from Hong Kong. His accent sounds somewhat like it, and he said he had lived in Hong Kong for a long time.

2. In Taiwan, they are looking for many so-called management personnel to assist with the development of industries in Hainan, using Taiwan’s resources to help Hainan make money.

3. The salary structure is a base salary plus bonuses: NT$22,000 plus whatever bonus amount the boss feels he can give, but the bonuses are not much.

4. Because the company has just moved to Yangmei and rents someone else’s office building, access depends entirely on the landlord’s attitude, and security access is strict.

5. Employees clock in at 8:00 a.m., clock in once at 12:00 noon, clock in again at 1:00 p.m., and clock out at 5:00 p.m. (because they have to coordinate with the nearby companies, the times are very strict).

6. They only comply with the Labor Standards Act and provide nothing beyond its requirements; there are no other systems or benefits.

7. The company is very empty, with hardly anyone working in the office.

8. The boss talked a lot about plans to do things in Taiwan, repeatedly saying that Hainan’s development was excellent, and that Xi Jinping had just announced policies to support him, and so on.

Later, because I felt that this company was strange, I contacted internal employees to further verify the working conditions.

The result was that there were even more shocking things:

1. I looked up the boss, Liu Yangwu, online and found that he has established three companies in total: “Taiwan Youth Entrepreneurship Dream,” “Taiwan Island,” and “Taiwan Island Investment.” Their registered capital is not high, and the information can all be found online. In mainland China, these names all stem from united-front concepts.

2. According to internal employees, this boss has been in Taiwan for more than a year and has spent over ten million [New Taiwan dollars] dining with people and building connections, but after moving to the new location, he is unwilling to spend any money.

3. There are not even storage lockers for individual workstations in the office. The boss does not want to buy any because he is afraid they will break and no one will manage or take responsibility for them, so he refuses to buy them.

4. During the interview, they promised to provide meals, but they never did (nor did they provide a subsidy). Everyone has to pay for their own food. The area around the company consists entirely of mountains and fields, with no restaurants—only one 7-Eleven. However, employees must report their whereabouts and clock out when going out to eat.

4. They frequently invite young women to interviews, and apparently intend to find a partner in Taiwan, marry, and complete the immigration process. Some internal employees seem to have been approached as well.

5. The company does not buy an official vehicle, for the same reason as in point 3. When business travel is required, regardless of what vehicle is used, they do not reimburse fuel costs. Employees must arrange their own transportation and must return to the company within the allotted time. There is only one bus route outside, and each bus requires a four-hour wait.

6. The company will not provide any subsidy that is not required under the Labor Standards Act; employees have to figure everything out themselves.

7. If you are more than one minute late for work, you have to take leave. Leave is calculated in 30-minute units; otherwise, it is counted as an absence without leave.

8. The boss often refuses purchases that cost money, but when he goes out to eat with female employees, he pays.

In the end, I do not want to work for this company. I am sharing this with everyone; if you are considering joining, please think it over carefully.
