Pros

The interviewer this time was the marketing manager (apparently born in 1988?), who presented herself as highly experienced in using online tools. She was very talkative throughout the interview, seemed very friendly, and kept smiling and laughing...

Cons

During the interview questions, I discovered that a whole lot of the interviewer's claimed experience actually came from other people. It was either based on things she had heard or know-how gained from feedback given by her colleagues (presumably subordinates?). Then, whenever I asked about more professional concepts, she would just dodge the question...

Next, the interviewer emphasized that 518 operates under a responsibility-based system with no overtime pay (so even a job board can be an exploitative employer?). She also said that everyone gets along very well at work, and that because they are around the same age, they enjoy learning from one another. She said the company is also very willing to let employees pursue learning opportunities, and even gave the example that employees can work on project management outside their core responsibilities (does that mean serving as a PM?). I felt that toward the end, the interviewer kept emphasizing how much they value teamwork, because everyone is one big family. She then asked whether I liked joining dinners or other group activities after work, etc. I thought they were free and happily said, “Of course!” But after asking more carefully... I only then found out that these activities are all self-funded!!!!!! (Then I don't understand why she brought up these questions about activities that require employees to pay during the interview. Is this also included in the work performance KPI? After hearing that, I had already crossed her off in my mind.)

After listening to the entire interview.... I felt that the interviewer must be a masked superhero, because what she said felt extremely unreal and too superficial.

Finally, when discussing the job's compensation, she said the company's starting salary is 40,000 or more (surprisingly high compared with the answer I got from a friend earlier! My friend said their starting salaries are all in the thirty-thousands~). Then the interviewer said that the salary would be adjusted according to ability after three full months (huh! Is this a probationary period?).

Conclusion:

A manager with no experience who relies solely on talking— even if they offered me 50,000, I still wouldn't dare join... Usually, people like this will exploit their subordinates' know-how to the fullest, and then work their subordinates to death....? (Terrifying)

Thank you! No need to contact me!

I politely declined! BYE~ XD
