1. The office decor is pretty good

2. HR was fairly polite

I don't know if it was an old-fashioned pressure-interview style, but the interviewers came across as very disrespectful.

1. There were aggressive questions like, “What makes you think you can ask for this salary?”

2. The interviewee was forcefully interrupted multiple times while answering questions.

In addition, when I asked about the overtime culture and working overtime, I received a remarkable response:

1. If someone lacks sufficient ability, current employees will voluntarily stay behind to learn. Of course, there is no overtime pay for learning. They then said, “I hope all team members are ambitious. If everyone stays behind, but you want to leave when your working hours are over, I will not agree.”

I believe anyone who can read between the lines knows exactly what this statement was expressing.

The above was my experience interviewing with a senior technical director and two technical directors approximately several years ago. It was also the “only” company where I wanted to leave halfway through the interview. Although I heard it later rebranded itself, because of this terrible interview experience, this company is still one of the companies on my blacklist.
