Everything complies with the Labor Standards Act.
However, you cannot claim unused annual leave after resigning, lol.
A family business where the boss is treated like an emperor and does not know what they actually want. They throw out a sentence and expect the people below to figure out how to accomplish all kinds of absurd, impossible tasks. Employees below are often treated unfairly and forced to tolerate some ridiculous policies.
Members of the boss’s inner circle occupy the various management levels. There is no完善 promotion channel, and policies change from day to day.
Not working overtime is seen as not being serious; working overtime is considered a sign of insufficient ability.
There are many rules and procedures, resulting in a great deal of wasted time, but they are merely for show to management; management is always exempt from the rules.
Raises depend on the boss’s mood, and the raises after passing performance reviews are pitifully small.
Supervisors shirk responsibility and work, while incompetent people rise to positions of authority.
The people in the “palace” are unwilling to delegate authority, preventing capable employees from having enough power and room to get things done. There is too much overtime and high turnover, and they like prying into employees’ privacy or fishing indirectly for information.
Anyway, it is a typical family business, and this is fully reflected in this company.
