I can't think of anything positive.
The job posting I saw on the job bank described work-management duties similar to “workflow improvement,” but when I arrived on-site, it had changed to “general affairs + security guard rotation.” They even told me something like: “Look at those big presidents and CEOs—they all started in general affairs.” The salary was NT$26,000, with two weeks in general affairs (weekends off), followed by rotation into security work (three-shift scheduling, including overnight shifts). For a job with overnight shifts, this salary is far too exploitative. They also required me to fill out a bunch of forms, and the interview questions felt like they were trying to get free ideas, with questions related to internal improvement such as: “How can the company prevent internal talent from leaving?” and “What do you think is the biggest problem facing Taiwan’s small and medium-sized enterprises today?”
I feel like they advertised one position to attract people to an interview, only to tell them about a different position once they got there.
