Japanese company. The three major festival bonuses are 0.5 month for the Mid-Autumn Festival, 0.5 month for the Dragon Boat Festival, and 1 month for the year-end bonus. Time after 18:00 is considered overtime. Salary adjustments and bonuses depend on the company’s profits. Labor
insurance, national health insurance, group insurance, perfect-attendance bonus, maternity/marriage/funeral allowances, and employee travel subsidies are provided. A certain amount is collected monthly as a welfare fund, and bonuses are distributed on May 1, Labor Day. The hiring
decision takes one week. There are birthday and Chinese New Year gift money, as well as a NT$500 dining allowance every six months. The Yongkang Industrial Park is divided into Factory 1 and Factory 2. The electrical panel wiring and instrumentation inspection technicians are both
at Factory 1. Overtime at Factory 1 generally lasts until around 8 p.m., while overtime at Factory 2 generally lasts until after 9 p.m. Saturday overtime is required depending on production volume. During the interview, four people—an HR
manager, section manager, supervisor, and manager—will interview you simultaneously. If there are other candidates, an on-site joint interview will be held with them. During the interview, they will ask about your vision for, alignment with, and expectations of the company, or what strengths led you to choose this company. They will ask about the reason you left your previous job and what achievements you hope to obtain in this position. When asked about expected salary,
I explained that I wanted to follow the salary levels listed on 1111 and 104 (approximately NT$26K–28K). The interviewer believed that there are many factory employees with more skills and strengths than the interviewee, so the amount is not determined by what the interviewee proposes; it will still follow company regulations (P.S.: Simply put, they don’t want to pay, can’t afford to pay, and want to hire a lion with a banana!). They also mentioned lies commonly heard during interviews: there are many grand promises, but they dare not put guarantees and written terms in black and white.
