Colleagues encourage one another
Bonuses are paid late; I hope they can be paid on time. There is no year-end bonus, and I hope this can be explained during the interview. It should also be mentioned that supervisors are all on annual salaries: if operations perform poorly, supervisors' salaries are unaffected, but employees' salaries are affected. Supervisors and the company owners are all on the employer's side because they have more money. Operations are rather unstable, and indirect staff such as sales personnel must work on the production line as operators, without overtime pay. The sales department supervisors are all emotional. There was no year-end bonus in 2017; the company used the bonus from December 2017 as a year-end bonus, amounting to a little over NT$2,000. The company practices 6S, and every month employees must propose one improvement plan concerning the environment or work methods. Twenty minutes must be spent cleaning every day. On the first Wednesday of every month, employees must arrive at the company at 7:30 a.m. for the monthly meeting. The company chairman, general manager, and some other senior executives are all family members; a company with professional managers would be more reasonable. We have to apologize to customers almost every week because the products cannot be completed on time, and sales staff have to handle rush orders themselves.
