Colleagues are very united. They know who is unable to cope or when there is too much to carry, and they will help move things. Whenever someone has difficulties, everyone helps each other. They also discuss what problems they encountered that day. As for the company's advantages, I cannot see anything good.
Cons
Cons: During the first week after opening, people could have finished work early, but tasks were always put off until 8 or 9 p.m., just when we were preparing to leave, before people were finally told to do them. Moreover, when operations first began, all employees except part-time workers were deliberately kept late and unable to leave on time. The first few days of opening week were even more absurd: nothing had been planned, and then a bunch of support staff arrived. They either stood around doing nothing or chatted and laughed. Even the manager did not pay attention to what people were doing, judged things based on their own assumptions, or made sarcastic remarks. We were not allowed to eat anywhere. When we went to the back room and sat on the floor, we were told, “How pitiful, sitting on the floor.” How would you feel if someone said that to you while you were eating? Also, one day, even though all the work had clearly been finished, the part-time workers were told to leave first, while the full-time employees were kept for a long time. Later, they even said to us, “You’re off work. What are you doing here?” They kept us there themselves and then asked what we were doing there. The rules kept changing, and no matter what we did, we were criticized. Otherwise, when someone made a mistake the first time, they were yelled at and treated harshly. Compared with my previous supervisor, there is a huge difference. They never try to understand both sides and communicate with each other; they just treat people however they want based on their own ideas. Sometimes joking would be fine, but they only make extremely inappropriate jokes and speak without thinking. They could not even properly handle difficult customers and did not understand the situation. They asked me what was wrong, and after I explained, they responded by asking me what they should do. I was only following the instructions of another supporting manager. Being insulted by difficult customers was bad enough, but they also showed no consideration for others. Then they even asked whether we really wanted to continue working, making it seem as though everything was our fault. Every time I hear this, I feel so helpless.
