Pros

(1) Employee purchase prices are the same as wholesale prices, so it’s more worthwhile to choose products from the store.

(2) No proof is required when taking sick leave. Other types of leave are generally easy to request, but the supervisor loves to ramble about why you need to take leave.

(3) You can clock out exactly on time.

(4) Being late does not result in a pay deduction.

Every company has its good and bad points.

It’s just that the supervisor here (the owner’s daughter) does not have a proper sense of priorities when handling things.

She often uses things she has said before to contradict herself.

She does not listen to suggestions from employees, but treats the same suggestions from outsiders as valuable.

There is also a long-serving veteran employee who hinders the company’s growth; it really isn’t advisable to stay here long-term.

However,

the job duties cover a wide range of areas, making it suitable for people who want to learn about different fields.

Cons

01 The lunch break is only 40 minutes.

The office is on the sixth floor, and it takes 20 minutes just to walk out, buy food from a shop, and return.

02 The supervisor does not follow any SOPs and often changes things while also pressuring people for progress updates.

03 The supervisor often tells you to start working on something first, without providing the correct information, and then blames you when it is done incorrectly.

They also frequently just send a webpage without saying anything. If you do not ask, they will not explain on their own.

They even say, “I thought you knew because you didn’t ask,” as if everyone were mind readers.

04 Even when simply forwarding an email, the supervisor insists that you do it.

Even when applying for bank-related information that requires entering personal privacy details, they insist that you fill it out.

05 A long-serving veteran employee dominates the office and has extremely poor emotional control.

The way they talk to coworkers is as if everyone owed them something in a past life.

They constantly talk about resigning. Because they are a key person in the system, they even dare to scold the owner and supervisor.

They are very good at passing work on to others: once you have helped them do something once, they will keep telling you to do it.

06 There are problems with the allocation of responsibility. The supervisor often assigns tasks to unrelated people because the veteran employee complains that there is too much work to finish.

07 There is a veteran employee acting as an informant in the office, and there are also very nosy aunties on every floor.

08 The working environment is very poor. From the first floor up to the seventh floor, merchandise is piled along the stairs all the way up, which is very dangerous.

09 The office is full of extension cords plugged into other extension cords, with every power strip completely overloaded. It is extremely alarming.

10 The supervisor said they would arrange a duty roster, but the veteran employee did not cooperate and told the supervisor that they had been doing it.

The veteran also told office coworkers that they did not want to be responsible for throwing away the restroom trash.

They also said they take all their trash home to dispose of it, including used sanitary pads.
