The interview location was not clearly stated. The email only said, “You can come in for an interview at any time.” It was vague and not very polite. Since the job posting was for Taipei City, I’m glad I asked again to confirm the interview location; only then did I find out that I was supposed to go to the New Taipei Industrial Park... The interviewer was not very friendly and looked annoyed when I asked questions, as if she couldn’t be bothered to listen. I spent a long time traveling to the remote interview location, only for the interview to end abruptly after about five minutes amid the interviewer’s awkward expression. It left a very bad impression. Not long after I left, I immediately received a reply saying, “We are unable to offer you the position.” If my qualifications were not what you were looking for, why arrange an interview at all? It was a waste of both our time.
