They send a thank-you letter (does that count as a pro?)
Ms. Huang from HR scheduled a Skype phone interview with me in advance, which felt very formal, so I did a little preparation. But it ended in less than five minutes. Were they still not looking at my résumé? They asked some very basic questions, and it felt like they hadn’t read my résumé at all—just randomly inviting people to interviews. No wonder they’re hiring 365 days a year. Or is HR under performance pressure? Do they have to interview a certain number of people every month, so everyone is treated as cannon fodder?
P.S. A friend of mine happened to interview there two weeks before I did and also gave it a bad review. Sure enough, there’s a reason a company gets a bad reputation.
