The HR representative was very conscientious and had a good attitude.
This was the worst interview experience I’ve had recently, and it left me feeling terrible.
They kept nitpicking my past experience. I can understand being concerned that someone who joins the company might not be able to perform the job, so they repeatedly emphasized KPIs and that overtime would be required if targets were not met. However, their overall way of speaking made me feel uncomfortable and belittled. I’ve interviewed with several larger companies, and none of them made me feel this bad. It’s not just companies choosing candidates—job seekers choose companies too, okay? If the interview was already like this, I don’t think working there would be any better.
They believed that people with experience working in other e-commerce companies would be unable to adapt and perform the job, yet they also wanted candidates to have experience working in other e-commerce companies. What exactly is the problem here? Hello??? Don’t you think you’re being contradictory?
