1. The company is located near an MRT station, with a department store nearby, so you can go shopping after work if you have time.
2. There are considerably discounted employee prices for purchasing company products.
3. Work ends fairly punctually (though you can work overtime if you want to show the boss your dedication).
4. All employee benefits comply with the Labor Standards Act—nothing more, nothing less, just right.
5. Colleague outings are held regularly (but not a single one has ever succeeded).
6. There is a private little pantry (a cockroach’s paradise).
7. The company emphasizes teamwork, so colleagues are assigned to clean the entire office, restrooms, and pantry every day.
8. There is a fixed meeting once a week. Teamwork is emphasized, and colleagues naturally take turns writing the meeting minutes; the issues discussed are always the same old problems, bla bla bla.
9. Whenever a critical period arrives, teamwork is emphasized, and colleagues must provide cross-departmental assistance—no one is an outsider.
10. The company has its own independent warehouse. The warehouse staff have a very direct way of doing things and speaking. If you want to toughen yourself up, you’re welcome to give it a try!
11. Although the boss says they dislike cliques and everyone appears to get along harmoniously, there are many small circles among colleagues, with undercurrents surging beneath the surface.
12. If you want to gain work experience, grow rapidly on the job, experience the spirit of teamwork, and do not care about the amount of compensation, the company welcomes you.
13. If salary is your top consideration, then thanks, but no thanks—maybe another time!
After saying so much, I’ll leave the rest for everyone to discover after joining!
