When there are new employees, the manager treats everyone to a meal

There is no system for getting things done.

The manager randomly dumps work on you and tells you to complete tasks without giving you any context or direction.

If you ask questions, you will be mocked.

When the manager is in a bad mood, they will send you an email berating you.

If you want to stay, you either need to have very high emotional intelligence or be able to read the manager's mind.

Otherwise, you have to be more intimidating than the manager. When they criticize you, don't cower. Believe in yourself—you are not as bad as they say—and ask them why they are speaking to you that way.

But don't believe that you can change them.
