1. Hierarchical relationships are taken very seriously (the seniority system), and you have to flatter people constantly. The office atmosphere is gloomy.
2. If you ask a senior colleague for guidance, they are very likely to tell you to Google it yourself. If you do ask a senior colleague, they may become impatient in all sorts of ways and even call you stupid~ After criticizing you, they still will not teach you in the end.
3. Supervisors will blame mistakes on subordinates, even when the decision was made by the supervisor.
4. The Sales Department thinks it is superior to others and likes to break away from company policies and SOPs, prioritizing whatever is convenient for the Sales Department.
5. After you leave the company, it may contact you and ask you to return the year-end bonus you received, claiming that the recipients of the year-end bonuses were accidentally entered incorrectly (e.g., HR may ask you to transfer the year-end bonus you received into HR's own private bank account?).
6. For business trips (both domestic and international), you need to write reports in Japanese. (E.g., if you visit six clients in one day, you have to write six reports, but regardless of how many reports you write, you receive the same business-trip allowance.)
