The company is approximately a 3–5 minute walk from Touqianzhuang MRT Station.
1. When I first entered the company, I was directed to a meeting room to fill out some forms, but three people were already having a meeting in there. At the time, I felt that the atmosphere was awkward. Much of the information they asked me to fill in was already available on various job banks. The two men and one woman who appeared to be in a meeting kept asking about my progress whenever I looked up to think about how to fill in the various fields. Moreover, what made the applicant feel especially incredulous was that the form was made entirely from used recycled paper. Were they really being that careless?
2. To be honest, it was just a shaky little company that put on very grand airs. They asked, with a very superior attitude, why I had left my previous job. After I straightforwardly explained my reasons, I asked in return whether this position was newly created or was replacing someone who had left, and whether the company had a high turnover rate. A certain man arrogantly said that the other person simply could not keep up with the company's pace, then quickly brushed the topic aside. Later, a certain woman asked a series of questions about web design with an extremely high-and-mighty attitude. It really felt like a small company trying to buy a Swiss Army knife at a low price. Finally, the most ridiculous question she asked was, “Do you have any work online?”
My information, autobiography, and portfolio have all been on the job bank website the whole time. Why ask that question...?
Halfway through the interview, I was already rolling my eyes. In the end, the man even emphasized, “Our company is unstable,” followed by a string of censored-looking symbols.
What on earth was he talking about? Ridiculous.
