Pros

Clients occasionally provide samples of products released in the previous season.

Cons

1. The actual number of employees, including the boss, is around five or six.

2. If you are sensitive, it may be better not to join. Otherwise, you may hear your supervisor say that your design is too ugly; when you ask what needs to be improved, they say they do not know how to tell you. You may end up questioning your life every day.

3. Compensation is heavily cut. After deducting labor and health insurance and labor pension contributions, the take-home pay is about the same as that of a fresh university graduate.

4. There is a spring banquet, but no year-end banquet.

5. On your first day, while knowing nothing about the clients’ preferences or the materials, you are expected to have the design instincts of someone who has built up a year of rapport with them.

6. Occasionally, you have to let the boss or supervisor check whether your design drafts are okay.

7. The company’s mainstream aesthetic standards and taste are cafeteria-style. Even when the boss or supervisor personally thinks a design draft is good enough to deliver, if the client does not respond, they will start criticizing your “ugly design” again.

8. The boss did not graduate from a relevant specialized department, but can use his extensive experience reviewing drafts to check your designs.

9. All design drafts created at the company are company assets. When you leave, at most you can take the <<<image files>>> of the design drafts with you.

10. You have to write a work journal every day.

11. Except for the boss and the field staff, everyone in the office has to take turns serving as the duty person for one week.

12. The computer assigned to you is old, so you have to save frequently. Otherwise, any extra time spent redoing work is considered your responsibility, and you have to swallow the loss.

13. You are required to provide clients with designs of the highest quality and standard, but the quoted design fees are nearly giveaway prices, and then employees are blamed for having low output value.

14. When you are fired, you have to sign a voluntary resignation letter before you can leave.

15. The boss often says that he values talent—even if someone comes to work wearing a red jacket, if he thinks their abilities are inadequate, then they are inadequate.

16. That is what he says, but if you realize that the boss does not like you, or that you are not outgoing, do not struggle to figure out how to win his favor. You would be better off checking the job boards first.
