Leaving work on time,
1) The administrative capabilities are insufficient, and the outside situation is the same. As a result, the two problems are combined and become even worse, dragging each other down. Naturally, nothing can be done well. Simply put, if the person at the top is crooked, those below will follow suit, and the entire team is ruined. Having to clean up other people's messes every time—that feeling is something Qing-shi should understand very well—is extremely exhausting. Especially in Chiayi, it feels as though someone is waiting to laugh at you. No one can stand it.
2) The company seems not to have any long-term planning. For example, Chiayi has been operating for so long, yet the routes are still arranged that way. The roads are jammed with vehicles every day, but no one looks for the cause. Every day, they only say they will clear the passageway, with one lane in and one lane out. Can this really improve things? It seems it is only an illusion. It is hard to understand. Yunlin is the same: only when the contract period was about to end did they start rushing around everywhere. Couldn’t they prepare response measures in advance?
3) Some people in the company gossip constantly. If I were the boss, I would definitely deal with that kind of person first. What happens when one person spreads gossip and it gets passed along? Once or twice may be fine, but over time, employees’ morale will be affected by one or two comments from such a person. The impact on the atmosphere is obvious. Yet that kind of person continues to gain influence. I am honestly somewhat stunned.
4) Company policies change depending on the person. Someone treats one type of person one way and establishes one set of policies, and another type of person differently. That makes me lose confidence in the company.
5) Dounan is clearly separated from Chiayi. Who was it that said at the beginning that Chiayi should not separate Dounan and Chiayi, but have the two work together to raise performance? Yet now it feels like this: every day, people say, “That is Dounan’s vehicle; it belongs to you Dounan people. We’ll help you make a few vehicles…” Hearing this for long enough is tiring. But there is nothing we can do—our capabilities are simply insufficient, perhaps. What else can we do?
6) I absolutely cannot tolerate the supervisor’s superior attitude. We cannot even pick up a piece of trash anymore. Does he treat employees as tools every day, ordering them around as he pleases, as if everything they do is only to be expected? When everyone is that busy, he still demands that his vehicles be handled first. Generally speaking, shouldn’t the customer’s needs be more important?
7) Compared with other authorized dealerships, the pay is pitifully low. The company cares too much about money. My impression every time is that it takes the initiative to deduct money more readily than to add it. How do you think employees feel about that?
8) Everyone loves to shift responsibility. Whatever happens, they push it as far away as possible. Seeing that is mentally exhausting.
9) The company’s mindset is that shareholders come first and employees come second. Don’t forget that the people doing the work below are employees, and they are also the ones directly facing customers. Employees are the company’s biggest variable, yet the company cannot even manage them properly. Four or five people leave every year. To put it bluntly, shareholders merely sit there collecting money. For example, you may have money, but if no one is willing to sell you food, you will still eventually starve to death. (Praise for the shareholders’ way of thinking.)
10) Most importantly, this company is completely unable to win employees’ loyalty. It cannot be solved simply by arranging an employee trip or a dinner. To give a simple example, when something goes wrong at the company, the first person to step forward will absolutely not be management; employees will definitely be pushed out first. This makes employees feel like mere tools. If they are treated only as tools, how could they want to entrust themselves to the company? As a result, when something happens, they likewise protect themselves first, and then everyone starts shifting responsibility back and forth. In the end, everyone’s sense of solidarity has completely dissipated.
(11) This company has dealerships in Changhua, Yunlin, and Chiayi. Only the Changhua plant offers decent pay; the other two plants are pitiful. It is clearly the same company, yet there are so many different systems within it.
Overall, this is a company that does not respect professionalism or technical expertise, much like a production line.
