For the benefit of the fur babies

During the interview, the interviewer made an unreasonable request: they asked me to provide the phone numbers of two supervisors from my previous company. In other words, they would call my former company to ask how I had performed there?! I don’t really understand the purpose.

They also never mentioned the salary I requested. Afterwards, they just said to wait for notification. We hadn’t even discussed the salary, and they didn’t say there would be a second interview—the interview simply ended. It really left me at a loss?!
