Pros
Overtime pay is provided (but they’re afraid of being penalized, so they won’t let you work beyond a certain number of hours), starting salary is NT$23,000, and they really like hiring fresh graduates.
There are many rules during the probationary period, and reportedly the raise afterward is only NT$1,000. The first hour after work does not count as overtime; they make it sound like they’re letting you go eat, but people around you cling to their desks and refuse to leave, so fresh graduates don’t dare leave first and end up working unpaid overtime until all their coworkers have left. They also keep expecting everyone to cooperate with activities held on holidays. They frequently send articles based on upper management’s perspective and tell everyone to read them carefully. There are many rules, the pay is very low, and even when you resign, you have to attend an exit interview before you can leave.
