There are many places to eat near the company, and some colleagues are quite nice. The benefits are decent, and the company is well-known and stable.
1. High employee turnover—whether in the stores or at headquarters, a bunch of people are replaced in less than half a year.
2. New hires have low salaries; even after working for three years, you still won’t get a raise as much as they do.
3. The quality of store managers varies. When you encounter one who is difficult to communicate with, you also have to double as internal customer service.
4. There are many long-time employees who are set in their ways.
Summary: Young people shouldn’t go, because you won’t be the one getting a raise anyway. Those over 30 who have previously been managers have a better chance. If you’re looking for a stable job to coast toward retirement, you could consider it.
